2008 Plan

Pursue passage of HR 2125 and SR 953 during this Congressional session. To accomplish this, we will focus on the following activities:

• In addition to Shipper day, ARC will schedule mini-rail days, which targets State/ Local and specific commodities.
• Encourage media events that specifically address the shippers’ causes such as Western Governors meeting.
• ARC will encourage and support its members participation in studies, Congressional testimony and STB hearings.
• Increase membership.
